Onedrive support for mac3/16/2024 I tried downloading and installing the same version of OneDrive that is on my iMac, but the version number of OneDrive on the MacBook did not change and it is still the Apple Silicon version. My M1 iMac still has the Intel version and it's working fine and still has Files on Demand turned off. Besides that, OneDrive sync app checks for available updates every 24 hours at startup. To mak sure that you are using the latest version of OneDrive for Mac, you can keep up with the release notes. Select the About option and check the version number. I have tried Reverting to the Intel version but so far that has not worked. Click the OneDrive cloud icon and select More > Settings. The company used a blog post to lay out its roadmap for. I just realized today that Files on Demand is now, apparently, ON, and I find no way to turn it off. Microsoft OneDrive for Mac is being updated with a significant number of improvements, designed to make it both easier and faster to use. I recently turned on Insider Preview in OneDrive on the MacBook and updated it to the Apple Silicon Preview. I always turn OFF files on demand as I want all files downloaded to the local hard drive of each computer. I have Microsoft 365 Family and use OneDrive to sync files between computers. I recently upgraded my MacBook to the new MacBook Pro with M1 Max processor.
